Loki is an American TV series created by Michael Waldron for the streaming service Disney+, adapted from Marvel Comics and the role of the same name. Waldron got hired in February 2019 and Herron was hired in August. Filming began in Atlanta, Georgia in January 2020, but was suspended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Production resumed in September and was completed in December. “Loki” premiered on June 9, 2021, with a total of six episodes. It is part of the fourth phase of the MCU.
