2010 Johnny Depp Movie Had a Policeman Stationed at All Times During Venice Chase Scene for This Absurd Reason
Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp’s sizzling Chemistry in the movie The Tourist was loved and applauded by the people in 2010. The movie was a great hit and the storyline was loved by the people. The movie was filmed in Venice, Italy. While shooting the movie there were numerous challenges that the cast and crew of The Tourist came across.

Police protection was present during the Venice boat chase scene. On the boat, Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie can be seen fleeing, and the scene was done brilliantly. There was a police officer there while that scene was being filmed. The policeman was present to ensure that nobody exceeded the strict speed limits.
Reportedly, the boat scene where Jolie is riding the boat and Depp can be seen handcuffed in another boat was a tricky scene to shoot for the director. The director didn’t want to invite trouble hence there was a policeman to make sure the makers and organizers don’t exceed the speed limit even while they filming for the movie.
The cast and crew of The Tourist were put on Antibiotics before filming a specific scene for the movie
As per reports, during the filming of the movie in the Venetian water, the whole cast of The Tourist was put on Antibiotics. The Venetian water was so polluted that the makers were concerned about everyone’s health during the shooting. As the movie was shot in Italy there were myriads of things that the crew and makers had to take care of. Although the filming was a daunting task people loved to watch Depp and Jolie’s pairing on the big screen.
While talking about working with Jolie, Depp said that working with her and meeting her in person was a joyful surprise. Depp said,
“Meeting her and getting to know her was a real pleasant surprise. You don’t know what she might be like – if she has any sense of humor at all. I was so pleased to find that she is incredibly normal and has a wonderfully kind of dark, perverse sense of humor.”
When Depp talked about Jolie, he was full of praises for the 47-year-old actress. Reportedly, while filming the movie The Tourist, the 59-year-old actor bonded well with the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider actress. On December 10 2010 when the movie was released on the big screens, one of the biggest reasons why people went to watch the movie was because Depp and Jolie were cast together.
