5 Miles Morales Stories That Can Be Adapted In The MCU
Miles Morales has never featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there have been hints. Spider-Man encountered Aaron Davis, the Prowler, Miles’s uncle, in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Meanwhile, Spider-Man: No Way Home is finished with a plethora of potential possibilities. Could Miles make an appearance in the MCU?
With Kate Bishop as the new Hawkeye, it’s possible that we’ll see more legacy heroes in the future. If Miles does appear in an MCU film and perhaps gets his own solo live-action release, there are a number of amazing comic-book adventures that might serve as a wonderful pattern for what Marvel could provide to fans of the Brooklyn Spider-Man.
5. Ultimate Spider-Man: Revival
Miles Morales’ second series in the Ultimate Marvel Universe kicked off with a bang. This began on the two-year anniversary of Peter Parker’s death, and as Miles was remembering him, Peter reappeared, still alive, and the Ultimate Green Goblin, the guy who murdered Peter, reappeared as well.
Because there is no Norman Osborn in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there has never been a Green Goblin. With Peter Parker learning about Norman in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it may be time to introduce the MCU’s Norman, and having him the monster might make him stand out.
4. Marvel’s The Champions
Miles Morales worked largely on his own in the Ultimate Universe, but he would occasionally collaborate with S.H.I.E.L.D. and assist the Ultimates. Miles was an Avenger in the primary Marvel Universe, but he left the squad after becoming dissatisfied with their refusal to aid people on the streets.
Instead, he collaborated with Ms. Marvel, Iron Heart, and Nova to form the Champions. Ms. Marvel and Iron Heart are both coming to Disney+, so it’s possible that the Champions may form as well, and it would be a fantastic opportunity to bring in Miles Morales.
3. Roxxon Corp.
Miles Morales had a big foe in the Ultimate Marvel Universe, and this carried over to the mainstream Marvel universe. Roxxon is an oil and gas company with one purpose in mind: to grow profits at any cost. They also have a horrible propensity of breaching the law in order to do so.
This puts them in conflict with a number of superheroes, the majority of whom are street-level adolescent heroes like Ms. Marvel and Miles Morales. In one recent scenario, Miles and Nova were seen working secretly for Roxxon. Having Miles appear in the MCU in a Disney+ series and face the Roxxon Corporation while saving the people in his village may be a great way to introduce him.
2. Spider-Man Clone Wars
Many years ago, Spider-Man had his own clone wars, which did not end well for him or the readers of the comics. However, Miles Morales’ clone battles resulted in an intriguing tale and perspective on the subject. The Accessor, a villain, became one of Miles’ most powerful opponents after torturing Miles and learning all about his talents.
Three clones fled from a lab after the Accessor was gone. The script was clever, with twists and turns that made Miles realize this conflict was not as simple as it appeared, and if done well, might make for an engrossing Miles Morales film in the MCU.
- Outlawed Comics
Outlawed was more than simply a narrative about Miles Morales. This was a big crossover that touched all of the Marvel Universe’s youthful heroes. After Kamala Khan went into a coma, the US government made underage heroes illegal.
Miles Morales and others were put in a difficult position as a government task force were formed to track down and jail any adolescent hero who was still combating crime. Putting this in a film starring Miles Morales may be a fun way to juxtapose the Civil War plot with a newer generation of heroes.
