While Andrew Garfield only got an opportunity to play Spider-Man in two Marvel movies, he still managed to become fans’ favorite of all time. Moreover, none of his films become top-tier when compared to what Tobey or Holland’s version brought to the table. With that being said, these are the five things that prove Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man is yet the best –

He Got The Humor Spidey As A Character Require

Spider-Man is quite famous for throwing terribly timed jokes and sometimes those snarky comments before he takes down the bad guys. It has remained to be a part of his overall personality since the beginning and perhaps that is one of the most prominent reasons why fans love him. But apparently, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, portrayed by Tobey Maguire, lacked the right amount of humor. That was quite a miss after all. But when Garfield’s version of the web-slinging superhero appeared on screen, it took the humor game to the next level.

Garfield’s Spider-Man Is Best At Mixing Seriousness With Goofy

Apart from having the right amount of in-built humor, Andrew Garfield is also best at playing the right blend of being goofy, serious, and charming – all at the same time. This is perhaps one of those things that lacked in other Spider-Man projects. With that being said, Garfield manages to switch between respective emotions, something that Tobey and Holland’s Peter Parker failed to do. That is why Andrew Garfield’s journey was perfectly filled with the right amount of heartbreaking moments and real pain.

His Relationship With Aunt May Was Magical

Garfield’s compatibility with Field makes for the best relationship between Parker and Aunt May. With that being said, Garfield as an actor was a new rookie when he endorsed on to play Spider-Man, yet one can see that he completely increased his game to act alongside the Oscar winner. Watching the one scene where Peter asks his aunt about his father, Richard Parker, and she gives an honest speech but says that the conversation is all for naught because he became a world-renowned scientist – is beyond powerful. Even though it’s something we find hard to accept, we have to remember that these heart-to-hearts are essential in an ongoing relationship between mother and son. Garfield’s response works its magic! He says “I’m your boy” which shows us how deep their mother/son bond goes even in spite or perhaps because of what took place at the very beginning.

Garfield Highlighted Peter Parker’s Intelligence Significantly

And then there’s Peter’s intellect. While Maguire and Holland both portrayed otherwise intelligent characters, neither made much use of Peter Parker’s natural wit and brainpower when it came to utilizing his full potential. Garfield’s Spider-Man seems so, well…ordinary (in a good way). He never quits, has fun doing what he does, and is in it for the sheer adventure of everything! We see him go playing a scientific Peter Parker where he helps Dr. Connors generate an equation for his missing limbs.

Garfield’s Spider-Man Is The Sexiest

Last but not least, it may seem silly, but Garfield makes a pretty sexy Spider-Man. The actor is hot from the beginning once he dons the red and blue super suit, with his adorable fan-boy character who’s trying to be too cool for school. Once Peter finally becomes the superhero, he’s clumsy at first, but lovable and cute behind his mask when he bumbles around with snarky lines.
