Dakota Johnson Gave Acting Classes To Jimmy Fallon
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Dakota Johnson gave acting classes to none than Jimmy Fallon. In 2016, The Social Network actor was present at the talk show to promote her movie How To Be Single. The duo had a great time talking about acting skills and movies. During a segment, Dakota Johnson went on to show Jimmy Fallon a new game on acting.
During the show, Jimmy Fallon asked the Persuasion actor to act out a scene that dealt with her fiance leaving her for some other woman. He said-
“Your fiancé, Darth Vader, is calling to tell you he’s leaving you for another woman.”
The American actor picks up the phone and acts out the entire scene as follows-
“Hi babe. Did you just wake up? Who the f— is”
Dakota Johnson had accidentally blurted the F-word on the live show. Jimmy Fallon had to disconnect the phone call intentionally and the duo laughed hysterically. The acting lesson could not have ended on a better note.
Dakota Johnson On Her Off-Screen Chemistry With Co-star Jamie Dornan
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s sizzling chemistry in the erotic drama Fifty Shades franchise needs no explanation. Based on author E. L. James’ Fifty Shades trilogy, Dakota Johnson played the female lead in the series. During an interview with the reputed media outlet Vanity Fair, Dakota Johnson spoke about her on-screen as well as off-screen chemistry with her co-star Jamie Dornan. She revealed-
“There was never a time when we didn’t get along. I know it’s weird, but he’s like a brother to me. I love him so, so, so much. And we were really there for each other. We had to really trust each other and protect each other.”
The Cha Cha Real Smooth actor spoke about how the book Fifty Shades Of Grey, was not followed word to word, she mentioned-
“James had a lot of creative control, all day, every day, and she just demanded that certain things happen. There were parts of the books that just wouldn’t work in a movie, like the inner monologue, which was at times incredibly cheesy. It wouldn’t work to say out loud. It was always a battle. Always, We’d do the takes of the movie that [James] wanted to make, and then we would do the takes of the movie that we wanted to make. It was like mayhem all the time.”
The actor never regretted doing The Fifty Shades trilogy, but she confessed that she had been skeptical about a few scenes from the series.
