The Boogeyman made his first appearance in the year 2014 and in no time became a worldwide phenomenon. The movie was made in a pretty low budget and was able to gross $88 million on the box office. The second part did even better with grossing $171 million on the box office.
And a final chapter which will end this journey of John Wick is soon to be out in the cinemas. Wick has broken a cardinal rule and will have to now rely entirely on himself to survive. The final movie will feature a return of some familiar faces and some new foes for Mr. Wick. A hell lot of rumors are out now for John Wick Chapter 3, and Animated Times wants to let you know what are the facts in them.

1. BETTER WITH AGE

This is true. When the movie began John Wick was stated to be a man in his mid sixties. But the head of Thunder Road Pictures, Basil Iwanyk wanted someone who has got a seasoned history in the film world. And the first and foremost choice was Keanu Reeves. Give that man a gun and he will give you a superhit movie.

2. THE DOG WAS NOT KILLED

Omer Barnea, who played the dog’s killer cried a lot while filming the scene. He said that it was horrible for him to beat up the Dog. After every “cut” he would pick up the dog and play with him. The directors were given a strict instruction not to kill off the dog.

3. ALFIE ALLEN CASTING

It was an easy choice for the directors when it came to casting the arrogant aloof son of Viggo. They needed the audience to sympathize with John Wick for his dog’s murder. And they did so, by introducing a complete jerk as the villain. Alfie Allen had earned a lot of hatred by his portrayal of Theon Grejoy in Game of Thrones.

4. HORRIBLE INJURY ON THE SETS

Playing Viggo Tarasov didn’t come easy for Michael Nyqvist. The actor suffered a horrible injury when his head was literally “sliced open” and required 80 stitches. A numerous scenes had to be reshot to hide his injury.

5. RESPECTING THEIR RESPECTIVE MASTERS

John Wick is a master of a hell lot of forms of martial arts. In the movie though, he is shown a practitioner of Jujutsu. On the other hand, Miss Perkins is a practitioner of Jiu-Jitsu. Both of the fighters respect their masters.

6. MARKSMEN SHIP

John Wick is not only an extraordinary fighter, he is just too good with guns. In confined situations, he uses a Centre Axis Relocking stance. Holding the gun closer to his face and hence getting a better vision at their subject.
On shooting longer ranges, Wick has got a Weaver or Isoceles Stance. He positions his feet in a boxer stance and holds the gun in both hands.

7. AMAZING FOOTWORK

We have talked about hands and hands with gun. Now its time to appreciate the amazing footwork we saw in the franchise.In the first film, a fancy fight scene is seen between John Wick and losef’s men. Keanu Reeves was able to learn the entire footwork in just one day.
Here is an amazing fact. Reeves was suffering from FLU and 104 F fever that day. According to sources, Keanu performed 90% of his stunts in the movie.

8. CAR-FU FIGHTING

Just when the audience thought that they have seen a hell lot of fighting technique in the first film, the directors came up with a surprise. The second movie started with a Car-Fu Fighting scene. The scene took 3 months to be filmed. The action director admitted that Keanu Reeves is the best “actor driver” in the film industry.
