Across the Spider-Verse Inches Away From Crossing Coveted ‘Half a Billion’ Mark

The film is still running in theatres, with a couple of weeks under its wing, and is inches away from half a billion.
Looking at the success of the sequel of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the movie is expected to cross $500M worldwide, if not much more. The first film, Into the Spider-Verse, collected roughly $375 million worldwide before ending its theatrical run.
Spider-Verse 3 is slated to release next year
In Across the Spider-Verse, the multiversal event that began in Into the Spider-Verse is stretched to an incredibly spectacular degree. After the most recent Spider-Man movie, fans are promised another important addition to the franchise. The Spider-Verse franchise will have a threequel, Beyond the Spider-Verse.
The ending of the sequel has made its way to the next movie. With the confirmation from makers, Beyond the Spider-Verse is slated to release in March 2024. While the sequel took years to make after 2018 Into the Spider-Verse, the threequel is planned to release early.
