Pete Davidson to Return to Saturday Night Live

Actor-comedian Pete Davidson joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in its 40th-season premiere at the age of 20. The actor continued his work on the show for eight years before calling it quits in 2022. Almost a year after he departed from the sketch comedy show, the Bodies Bodies Bodies star is set to make his comeback on SNL.

This comeback will also mark his debut as the SNL host, as Davidson is expected to host the show for the first time on May 6, 2023. Sources have also revealed that the Meet Cute star is excited about his return and has the support of his former SNL boss, Lorne Michaels. Michaels is also the executive producer of his upcoming show, Bupkis, which is expected to feature a number of guest stars.

Davidson is reportedly very excited to return to Saturday Night Live. Sources have also shared that leaving the show has been a “change of pace for him, but in a good way.” He will be making his SNL return just days after attending the Met Gala on May 1, 2023.

Pete Davidson is reportedly returning to the comedy show to promote his upcoming show, Bupkis, which is set to premiere on Peacock on May 4, 2023. The action comedy series is described as a fictionalized version of The Dirt actor’s life. Along with starring in the series, Davidson also wrote and produced Bupkis.

Sources have revealed that producer Lorne Michaels has supported the actor. “Lorne has always been a huge supporter of Pete and his creative vision, and Pete thinks the world of Lorne,” sources said. Bupkis features Joe Pesci as his grandfather and Edie Falco as his mother.
