As Kagurabachi prepares for the manga’s upcoming volume release in Japan, the original creator of Naruto has provided a significant compliment for the upcoming series! Even before Kagurabachi’s official manga debut last fall, the manga had been taking over Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and with each new chapter, the comic has only grown larger throughout the months.

Beginning on July 4th in Japan, Kagurabachi‘s third volume will be available for purchase. Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the Naruto series, has provided a special recommendation for fans of the series with this book.

Kishimoto is confident that fans will adore Kagurabachi, complimenting Takeru Hokazono‘s skill and flair (as translated by @Go_Jover on X). “The drawings are captivating and full of power and emotion. This talent and style is what manga fans love.”

As evident from the message, manga fans are enticed to flip the pages of Takeru Hokazono’s work due to the mangaka’s emphasis on the emotionally intense situations in the manga. It is a massive occasion for Hokazono, who mentioned in recent interviews that Masashi’s Kishimoto‘s Naruto has been his biggest inspiration for his manga.

The manga’s sales and popularity may rise dramatically as a result of Kishimoto’s endorsement of Kagurabachi. The creator of Naruto, interestingly enough, had previously suggested My Hero Academia, which turned out to be among the best New-Gen manga series.

Considering Shueisha wants Kagurabachi to lead the next generation of Shonen Jump, Kishimoto’s remarkable message could do wonders for the manga.

Besides the Naruto creator, Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, had also recommended Takeru Hokazono’s manga for the first volume. The mangaka was amazed at the manga’s movie-like composition.

Horikoshi further commended Hokazono for understanding what it means to be “cool.” In fact, in his interviews, Takeru Hokazono repeatedly mentioned that he focuses on the “cool” aspect while illustrating the manga.
