Starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt in lead roles, Edge of Tomorrow is undoubtedly one of the most action-packed and thrilling movies out there. From the plot and the acting to the props and the setting of the flick, everything is absolutely immaculate, lending the movie an aura unlike none other.

But one standout aspect in the movie is the sword wielded by Blunt’s character Rita. Made out of a broken helicopter rotator blade, the sword looks insanely cool as the warrior Rita swings it with her weight to kill enemies and slash her opponents. Rita is great at close combat, but this blade sword makes her unstoppable.

Much like Thanos’s Gauntlet and the masks shown in Star Wars, this epic sword from Edge of Tomorrow also deserves a spot on the list of top collectible items from movies. Despite not being a burgeoning franchise like Marvel or Star Wars, the movie featured some incredible props that are worthy of being collected and kept safely by fans worldwide.

The action movie makes great use of this sword and Rita swings it with all her might. Considering it’s made out of a helicopter blade, the sword must be heavy to pick, let alone fight with. But this just goes on to show the resilience and strength of Rita’s character in Edge of Tomorrow, as she teams up with Cruise’s character to save the world that is dangling quite literally at the edge of destruction.

Not only did the star agree to appear in the Olympics closing ceremony, he stipulated that he would be doing the stunts by himself. The massive spectacle that took place in a stadium in France saw Cruise jumping into the middle of the stage to accept the Olympic flag and greet his fans. Although he was tied with a rope and secured with gear, it still looked pretty scary to jump from that height.

Fearless as always, there was no stopping Cruise from performing the stunt and later going on to cruise the streets of Paris on a bike. What’s more, Casey Wasserman told The Hollywood Reporter that Crusie did this for free. The iconic scene looked straight out of a movie, but it seems like one can only trust Cruise to make an impossible mission possible.
