It looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s iconic “I’ll be back” line will never ever die as it has been featured in the latest TV spot for the Terminator: Dark Fate but not in the way we might hope.

“I’ll be back”…

Arnold Schwarzenegger first spoke the line in the original Terminator film before his character went on a huge rampage throughout the police station. Since then, Arnold Schwarzenegger has used this line and variations on it in countless films, including all of his appearances in the Terminator sequel films. But it seems that this time around the line is being spoken by someone else too.

Trailer: Terminator:Dark Fate

The first trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate surprisingly contained the little footage of Arnold Schwarzenegger and mainly focused on Mackenzie Davis’ new character and the return of Linda Hamilton to the role of Sara Conner. This had continued in the latest Terminator: Dark Fate ‘I’ll be back’ TV spot for the upcoming film which contains mostly recycled footage from the trailer of the film. However, there is one major addition. Sara Conner, after tossing a grenade over the side of a bridge, who says to the other characters “I’ll be back.”
