The third highly anticipated instalment of Bad Boys has finally been given a release date now.

As announced by Variety, the film was announced to released in January 2020 back in May, but with all the heartache fans have been through, it was hard to trust Sony with the release date.

But thankfully, we have some full proof confirmation over the film’s release, thanks to Will Smith himself.

The actor took to Instagram to share the announcement in some posts, alongside Martin Lawrence. The actor confirmed that both of them will be returning for the third Bad Boys film.

Smith announced this through an Instagram video, and it seems like the two actors are as excited to be back as all fans.

The script for the film is being written by Chris Bremner and it will be directed by Billal Fallah and Adil El Arbi.

Martin wrote:
