A fan on Reddit detected an unfathomably guileful Batman Easter egg in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man: Homecoming welcomed a ton of jokes when it cast Michael Keaton a role as the Vulture. The seasoned artist played the Caped Crusader in the Tim Burton films Batman and Batman Returns. For a great deal of fans, it was a special reward to see Batman beat up on Spider-Man — and that was unmistakably something the makers were completely mindful of, if this Easter egg from the film is anything to pass by.

Reddit user deathstrokejt posted on the Marvel Studios subreddit with a screenshot from the first showdown between Spider-Man and Vulture. At a certain point, Vulture is encircled against the moon. Doing as such discreetly reproduces a standout among the most celebrated bits of the Batman legend: the Bat-Signal.

It’s simply the most recent Easter egg to be found in the MCU films. This arrangement of motion pictures has been going on so long that a great deal of little character minutes are really callbacks. That is an entire host of other profound slices and yell outs to the comics lore — and clearly not restricted to Marvel characters.

Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel Far From Home stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It is scheduled to be released on July 5, 2019.
