If we talk about his illustration, he is known to wear a purple or sometimes green eye mask with a green costume full of question marks.
His costume is either a skintight catsuit or a business suit and a bowler hat and his unique question mark-shaped cane.

How Did Edward Nygma Become The Riddler?
It all started when Edward was a young boy.
Caught by parental abuse in his childhood made Edward what he is today.
As a bright lad in school, Edward once got high grades on some necessary tests in his school.
Still, his father, who was unable to clasp the fact that his son was brilliant, believed that he cheated, beating him out of envy.
In theory, this led Nygma with a strong internal desire to always tell the truth to prove his innocence.
He led his desire to his compulsion with riddles, madness, and succession into the criminal world. Thus Edward Nygma became the Riddler.
As a character, we fans have loved him a bit due to his riddles.
Always trying to riddle the greatest deceptive of all time trying to manipulate him to go away with his crimes but in vain.
