The domestic box office run of Black Panther has finally come to an end and well, its finally tally will definitely please Marvel Studios.

Black Panther was in theaters for almost 25 weeks before ending its domestic run with an incredible total of $700,059,566 million. This mammoth total places the film on the top spot for any comic book adaptation, even ahead of Infinity War and The Avengers. Black Panthers ranks third on the all-time Movie domestic list behind Avatar ($760 million) and Star Wars: Force Awakens ($936 million).

The film impressed fans across the globe as it fetched another $646 million overseas to sum up a worldwide total of $1.3 billion. Black Panther is placed #9 on the all-time worldwide list behind other Marvel films like Age of Ultron (1.4 billion) and Infinity War (over $2 billion and still counting).

However, Infinity War has a really good chance to catch up on Black Panther in terms of domestic earnings. Black Panther is already out on Blu-Ray along with Director’s intro and deleted scenes, along with an exclusive sneak peek at Ant-Man & The Wasp.
