SUMMARY
  • Vivienne and Knox are making waves in Hollywood.

  • Despite their fame, the star kids prefer a private life.

  • Jolie and Pitt's custody battle rages on.

It’s been 16 years since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie—aka Brangelina—became the most-talked-about couple in Hollywood. And while they’ve split (a long time ago, if you’re keeping track), their six kids are still making headlines. But let’s focus on two of them: the twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon-Jolie Pitt.

These teens have been low-key for years, staying out of the paparazzi’s prying eyes, but every so often, they make a splash that leaves us all wondering: What are they up to? From red carpets to movie sets, Vivienne and Knox are definitely their parents’ kids, with a dash of their own flair.

They’re now 16, but if you blinked, you might have missed it. One minute, they’re helping their mom on set; the next, they’re taking on Hollywood projects of their own. They might not be chasing fame like their famous parents, but you can bet they’re living interesting lives.

When Were Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon-Jolie Pitt Born?

Let’s rewind the clock a bit—back to 2008, when the world was obsessed with Brangelina and their ever-growing brood. The twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, entered the world in Nice, France, with their proud parents by their side.

Vivienne arrived first, followed by Knox just minutes later. Honestly, they were the next big thing, after the whole ‘Brad and Angie’ saga, of course. As for their names, they were carefully chosen. Knox was named after Pitt’s grandfather (Hal Knox Hillhouse), while his middle name, León, was a tribute to Jolie’s great-great-grandfather.

Meanwhile, Vivienne’s middle name, Marcheline, honored AJ’s late mother, Marcheline Bertrand. So, yeah, these kids come with a whole lot of family history filled into their names.

These twins may not be spotted in the tabloids every day, but they’ve got some seriously cool projects going on. Let’s start with Knox. He voiced the character Ku Ku in Kung Fu Panda 3 back in 2016. But wait, there’s more—he helped his mom, Angelina Jolie, on set. Jolie told The Hollywood Reporter:

Mad and Pax were on this one doing AD [assistant directing] work.

Then there’s Vivienne. This girl is straight-up owning the theater scene. In 2023, she worked as a producer’s assistant for The Outsiders, a Broadway production that Jolie produced.

And if that wasn’t enough, Vivienne even got her start in the acting world with a role in Maleficent (remember the younger version of Aurora? Yup, that was her). Her mom, of course, played the iconic title role.

It seems the twins are taking after their parents’ creative careers, but they’re doing it on their own terms. You won’t catch them making a full-blown acting career out of it (yet), but they’ve definitely got their feet in the door.

Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt’s Red Carpet Debut in Three Years

Recently, Knox made his first red carpet appearance in three years. Like, where has he been hiding? On November 17, 2024, he joined his mom at the Governor’s Awards in Los Angeles, and they served some serious style.

Jolie was glowing in a yellow gown (classic Angie), while Knox—who, by the way, looked all grown up—wore a sharp suit with a buzzed haircut. If you didn’t recognize him, you’re not alone. He looks so different from when we last saw him!

It was a big deal because, honestly, we don’t see much of the Jolie-Pitt kids on red carpets these days. They’re super private and prefer to stay out of the spotlight.

Knox’s last red carpet appearance was in October 2021 at the Eternals premiere in London, where he was there with his siblings—excluding Pax. Despite being born into Hollywood royalty, the Jolie-Pitt kids are surprisingly low-key.

You probably know about the twins by now, but did you know Brangelina’s family is a total squad? There’s Maddox (23), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and the twins, Vivienne and Knox. That’s six kids in total. Six!

Maddox, the oldest, has already made a name for himself as an actor and producer (per IMDb), known for First They Killed My Father (2017), By the Sea (2015) and Maria (2024). Pax is not only an actor but also super into humanitarian work.

Zahara is at Spelman College now and joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. Shiloh’s been dancing at Movement Lifestyle Studio in Burbank and working with choreographer Lil Kelaan Carter. It’s pretty clear the Jolie-Pitt kids are growing up and doing their own thing.

Angelina and Brad Pitt’s Custody Battle Over Their Kids

So, while the Jolie-Pitt kids are busy growing up, their parents are still locked in a custody battle. The estranged couple is still battling it out in court over their kids. The dispute has been ongoing for years, with the couple’s children at the center of the fight.

Jolie had been opposing Pitt’s push for joint custody, citing concerns over the children’s safety due to alleged past incidents, including an accusation of abuse on a plane.

Right now, Jolie has full custody of their six kids, with Jolie primarily taking care of them and Pitt having visitation rights (via The Independent). However, it looks like the legal battle could drag on longer.
