Whether it’s because of her conservatorship, her social media posts, or most recently because of her relarionship with Sam Asghari, Britney Spears is one of the most talked about and searched-for celebrities online.
The two of them first connected in 2016 while filming Slumber Party, and it was later claimed that Asghari stood with Spears through thick and thin, helping her through her battles with conservatorship and mental health issues. But it seems like their romance is over at this point.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s marriage was on the rocks for months
According to reports, the pop icon Britney Spears who married Sam Asghari in June of 2022 in a private ceremony in California had been struggling to save her marriage for months. TMZ was the first to report that the couple is now heading for a divorce after 14 months of marriage. A source shared,
“It’s been very toxic between them for a long time. Their marriage has been on the rocks for months. There has been constant drama. It’s sad. A divorce would be devastating for Britney. Their issues tend to get worse when they are away from each other and spending time apart.”
They continued, “Britney has the tendency to feel like she isn’t being prioritized by Sam at times. Their arguments have led them to become unhappy at times in their relationship. They are also on different pages when it comes to their future as a couple, which has been a point of contention.”
Something that a source recently shared was the fact that Sam Asghari is now focusing on getting the singer to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and is threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about her unless he gets paid. However, it is not confirmed how much money he wants or whether the current prenup permits the disclosure of negative information.
It was reported at the time of their wedding that they signed a prenuptial agreement, which was highly in Spears’ favor adding that the money she made before the wedding is protected. It was shared that Asghari called it quits and filed for divorce after he allegedly found out that the singer had cheated on him, however, the singer has denied the cheating allegation and is going through a lot of emotions right now.
Britney Spears allegedly left Sam Asghari with a black eye
According to reports, the aspiring actor has reported that the singer had left him with a black eye after she violently attacked him when he was sleeping adding that he had frequently talked about how the singer gets physical with him. A source shared that there had been fights between the two where security had to step in.
About their recent alleged altercation, there was no security around and he was sleeping in their bed when the singer allegedly flew off the handle and began punching him. Asghari did not strike back but he was stunned with Spears hitting him. The alleged incident reportedly occurred earlier this year — around the time Asghari was spotted with an apparent black eye and bite marks on his arm.
It was also revealed that the singer was always so paranoid that someone was going to get her so she had knives all around the house including their bedroom to protect herself but Asghari was worried and scared because the singer would allegedly fly off the handle at the smallest thing.

Britney Spears’ old interview about being done with men resurfaces
Singe back in 2016 appeared on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segment from Late Late Show where she revealed that she would like to have three more kids but she has to find the right guy first. She said,
“I think I might not ever go to men again, [like] ever do the man thing anymore or get married anymore. I might French kiss someone but I’m not going to marry anyone anymore, no. I don’t believe in marriage anymore.”
Britney Spears shares two kids Sean Preston and Jayden James with ex-husband Kevin Federline and she has been trying really hard to get back on her feet and to be healthy emotionally, mentally, and physically but with the news of her marriage falling apart, the singer needs all the support she could get.
