Netflix recently announced new cast members for One Piece Season 2 on Instagram. Among the notable additions are Katey Sagal (from Sons of Anarchy) as Dr. Kureha and Mark Harelik (from Presumed Innocent and The Big Bang Theory) as Dr. Hiriluk.

Fans are especially excited about Harelik’s casting since his last name matches the character he’s playing—what a cool coincidence! Check out some fan reactions:

Dr. Hiriluk is a former thief who later becomes a doctor on Drum Island. The recent teaser hinted that fans will find out who is playing Vivi, Robin, and Chopper on August 21, 22, and 23, 2024.

In the meantime, Netflix has already given information about a bunch of other cast members, including Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, Brendan Murry as Brogy, Clive Russell as Crocus, Werner Coetser as Dorry, Ty Keogh as Dalton, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, and Rob Colletti as Wapol.

The returning crew features Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

Production for Season 2 of One Piece is now underway in Cape Town, South Africa, and fans are excited about the new settings and locations. Netflix has already given a sneak peek behind the scenes. Check out the video here:

As already mentioned, Season 2 is set to bring more key characters and surprises. But guess what? The Arabasta arc won’t be featured right away. Some fans might be bummed, but hey, that means there will be new storylines and character developments.
