Actor and comedian Bryan Callen has recently revealed on his The Fighter & The Kid podcast that he has a role in the upcoming DC films venture. Caller has previously worked with director Todd Phillips in the first two Hangover movies, playing the role of Eddie.
“I’ll be doing the Joker. I was offered a part and it sounds like fun but it’s not a big role as I’ll be playing an aging stripper. I have some ideas and I can’t wait for this,” said Caleb during his podcast.
He didn’t reveal much about the details of his part or the film but we can’t wait to watch him again onscreen. Callen will be joined by Joaquin Phoenix as Joker alongside Robert De Niro and Frances Conroy. The film will begin its production phase in September and will be directed by Phillips and produced by Martin Scorcese.
