Avengers: Endgame surely answered a lot of questions but it also brought many to the forefront. One little tidbit included Loki. But people who have been keeping an eye on the Disney + announcements which also includes a Loki TV series must have hedged a good guess.
What Answers Will Disney + Give With Loki TV Series?
The upcoming Loki series on Disney + will give answers to the questions of where he went. Along with this, Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have hinted that Steve Rogers, Captain America himself will be involved in tying up that loose end.

How Does Captain America Get Entangled In Loki’s Shenanigans?
The director duo have already suggested to EW that this fugitive Loki would be the subject of the upcoming Marvel series. When asked of his fate, they said:
“Interestingly, Loki has a show.”
In another interview with Travis Clark of Business Insider, the directors added that catching Loki might be part of Captain America’s mission when he ventures into the disrupted timelines to restore the borrowed Infinity Stones and return Thor’s Mjölnir hammer. This implies that we may see this hinted at cat and mouse chase become part of the new Loki series. Joe Russo elaborated by saying that:
“Loki, when he teleports away with the Time Stone, would create his own timeline. It gets very complicated, but it would be impossible for [cap] to rectify the timeline unless he found Loki. The minute that Loki does something as dramatic as take the Space Stone, he creates a branched reality.”
Anthony too chimed in and added that:
“We’re dealing with this idea of multiverses and branched realities, so there are many realities.”

Along with this the brothers reiterated the fact that Captain America stayed behind to live his life with Peggy Carter. But he did so in a separate timeline from the one Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have been following. Joe said:
“Ultimately he would have to come back to this timeline in order to hand over the shield.”
Anthony added that:
“As such the question arises as to how did this separate timeline Cap come to reappear in this timeline and why?”
