Captain Marvel Overpowers Thor’s Enchanted Mjolnir
The 7th episode of Marvel’s What If…? unveiled that Captain Marvel is stronger than Thor’s powerful hammer, Mjolnir. Inter-superhero battles are more of a tradition in the comics world. According to the typical storyline, when two superheroes cross paths they initially battle each other before realizing that it’s all a misunderstanding. It’s usually an effective tactic to engage the fanbase, who prefers much more than just arguing about whether Thor overpowers Captain Marvel, whether Hulk could crush Superman, or whether Batman could actually out-think the whole of Justice League. As even Stan Lee admitted, the mighty in these superhero fights are actually just who the scriptwriter wants to win for the continuation of the storyline, and honestly, it’s more of a usual happening for the result to be a tie – simply to balance out the vocal fanbases.
For example Marvel’s What If…? episode 7. There used to be a time when Marvel’s Captain Marvel was their mightiest superhero, however that fame has now been shifted on to Scarlet Witch; it was totally a technique of marketing, to be honest, but it inherently developed a heated argument about whether Carol Danvers could actually be able to beat Thor Odinson in a fight.
