Apple TV+ has something exciting coming up this October. The Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuarón’s miniseries Disclaimer has brought a thrilling psychological story for all his fans. It brought together two Oscar winners, Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline together.

Alfonso Cuarón Orozco is a Mexican filmmaker who has four Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards to his name. The series will release its first two episodes in October followed by every other episode on Friday.

Premiered in the series, Cate Blanchett is an Australian actress, best known for movies, Tar, Blue Jasmine, and Elizabeth: The Golden Age, which earned her Oscar awards and nominations. She is known for her versatile roles and has no plans of slowing down.

Blanchett plays the role of Catherine Ravenscroft, a journalist known for exposing others for their misdeeds. The story takes a turn when she receives a novel from an unknown author and realizes that it is about her deepest darkest secrets. She must find the author and mend her past which is now threatening her life and relationships.

The seven-episode series brings together three Oscar-nominated stars in Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, and Alfonso Cuarón as the writer and director, to serve the audience with a thrilling psychological experience. The series is adapted from a bestselling novel of the same name by Renée Knight.

The series is produced by Esperanto Filmoj and Alfonso Cuarón. Renée Knight, who is the author of the novel, also serves as the executive producer of the series.

Cuarón’s fans have already started relating the series to a Black Mirror episode, considering the psychological thrilling effect it provides. The fans are excited to witness the same on their screens. Hence, they expect it to give the adrenaline rush it promises.
