While talking about the Jason Bourne actor, Jimmy Kimmel presented a video during the show, which featured Cillian Murphy giving a stoic reaction to Damon’s opinion about his dining habits. Matt Damon’s claims about Cillian Murphy’s dining habits have gone viral on the internet. According to the Good Will Hunting star, Murphy is the worst dinner companion imaginable. During an interview with the 60 Minutes Interview, Cillian Murphy went on to explain himself with respect to his dining habits. He said-
“I’ve always been like that, I think. It’s because, to me, you have the time on set, which is a short enough time. You have 10 hours, maybe. And then the other part, if you’ve got a significant part, you’re having to keep your lines fresh. And then the other big thing for me is sleeping. I love sleeping and I need sleep.”
He further added-
“I’ve had lots of lovely dinners with Matt Damon since the movie has finished, and we’ve been out promoting it and stuff. At the time, yeah, you just don’t have the room … in your head and you want as much sleep as possible.”
Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer witnessed its theatrical release along with one of the biggest blockbusters of 2023, Barbie. The Greta Gerwig-led fantasy doll drama went on to enter the billion-dollar club quickly but faced tough competition with Oppenheimer during the awards season.
