At Animated Times, we are committed to giving our readers accurate, well-sourced coverage of anime, animation, and the wider entertainment world. We know mistakes happen despite careful editing, and when they do, we correct them openly.
Reporting an Error
If you spot a factual error in one of our articles, please let us know. You can reach our editorial team at contact@animatedtimes.com. Please include the URL of the article and as much detail as possible about the error, along with any supporting source.
Review Process
Every reported error is reviewed by our editorial team against the original sourcing. If the error is confirmed, we correct it as quickly as possible.
How We Correct Articles
Corrections are made directly within the article. Where the correction is minor (a date, a name, a figure), we update the text and note the change at the bottom of the article, for example “Updated: [Date] — corrected [detail].” Where an error is significant enough to affect the reader’s understanding of the story, we add an editor’s note near the top of the article explaining what was corrected and why.
Retractions
In the rare case that an article is found to be based on unreliable information or is otherwise fundamentally flawed, we will retract it. A retraction notice will replace the article, explaining the reason.
Our Commitment
Corrections are a normal part of responsible journalism, not something we hide. We would rather fix a mistake in public than pretend it didn’t happen.
