Disney just launched the Disney+ streaming services on Tuesday. The streaming services launched Expanding The Universe episode, which gives us a sneak peek into the future of the MCU. The episode highlights the future for Marvel Studios with the launch of exclusive Marvel titles on the Disney+ streaming services. This includes some prominent names such as Loki, The Falcon, and The Winter Soldier, What If…?, WandaVision, and Hawkeye.

Hawkeye’s Kate Bishop’s original Comics look.

Many of the titles have shown the first looks at concept art in the Expanding The Universe special, a particular art caught our attention. It is none other than the first look at Kate Bishop in the upcoming Hawkeye series. Producer Trinh Tran says, “She’s the new, young mentee that he can train to eventually take over the mantle as Hawkeye, one day.” While there isn’t any official casting for the character, Hailee Steinfeld may be the front runner. Now that you see she does fit the role perfectly. Though the concept art does not reflect as much so we’ll have to wait and see.

The shot also shows sees Jeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye taking on a purple costume which is the Hawkeye’s original look in the Comics. The shot looks like a high-speed action sequence that sees him and Kate Bishop fighting side by side.

Lucky the Pizza Dog

Hawkeye might get a cameo from Lucky the Pizza Dog.

Another concept art gives us the confirmation of Lucky the Pizza Dog featuring in the Hawkeye series. Lucky is popular from Matt Fraction’s run on the Hawkeye comic series. Trinh Tran comments, “I think with Endgame, it’s always going to impact all of the characters that we are introducing in our Disney+ streaming shows as well as the future of features, right, for the characters that are still existing. So you’re just going to have to find… I can’t say much about that!”
