The more ardent Doctor Strange fans will remember the phrase ‘Curse me for a novice’. It was something that Stephen Strange used so often in the past that it was almost a catchphrase. He would utter it when he made silly mistakes. Since modern times have done away with catchphrases for superheroes, it is no surprise that we don’t see this phrase much anymore. In DoctorStrange#20, Strange pulls out his laptop to do some research on surgical science. Bats, the talking ghost dog, expresses surprise on learning that Doctor Strange possesses a computer. Doctor Strange reveals the password to him and tells him that he trusts him with it since he has no thumbs. The password to the laptop, as revealed by Strange, is CurseMe4ANovice. That is such a fantastic way to bring back the phrase in a subtle manner.

The adventures of Doctor Strange will continue in the next installment ‘Doctor Strange: Surgeon Supreme’. This Marvel Comic by Mark Waid and Kev Walker will be on sale in December. The movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released on May 7, 2021.
