Nate Moore, the producer of Eternals, discusses the human individual who appears in the trailer’s backdrop in multiple scenes. On November 5, the film Eternals, directed by Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao, will be released in theatres. It stars Gemma Chan, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, and Dong-seok Ma and is the third film in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The storey depicts a race of immortal superpowered creatures who had lived on Earth for 7,000 years and governed humanity.

During Screen Rant’s visit to the set of Eternals, Nate Moore revealed a little more about Karun, played by Harish Patel, one of the human characters in the film. Because he isn’t an immortal superbeing, he is given less advertising space, “Karun is a great character. He is Kingo’s valet, and so he is—again some Eternals have bonded very much with human counterparts and he is essentially Kingo’s valet and best friend, so he gets to spend part of the adventure with Kingo and Harish is amazing”.

Harish Patel is an actor from India who has acted in over 150 films. He was most recently seen in the Hulu adaptation of Four Weddings and a Funeral, which aired for ten episodes. He has also appeared in scores of Indian films and television shows, including Run Fatboy Run and The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency.

Karun appears to be a unique character created specifically for Eternals, so Marvel fans will have to wait until the film’s release to learn more about him. Fortunately, Marvel has a good track record with supporting characters, including non-superpowered characters that appear alongside the A-list heroes. Awkwafina’s Katy and Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery, for example, had plenty of screen time alongside the new team of martial arts experts in their most recent smash Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Karun may not have a significant role in the film, but there’s always a potential for him to make an impact in the MCU’s wide universe.
