The highly anticipated DC movie, The Flash, has finally had its budget revealed, and it comes as no surprise that it is quite expensive. The film has faced several delays leading up to its theatrical release, along with some controversies involving its lead star. Despite these challenges, excitement for the movie, led by Ezra Miller, has been building in recent weeks, particularly due to positive reviews from critics following its premiere at CinemaCon. According to a Canadian report, The Flash boasts a budget of approximately $220 million, making it one of the most costly movies ever produced by DC. It currently ranks as the sixth-highest budgeted film under the DC banner.

To date, Justice League still holds the record for the most expensive DC movie with a budget of $300 million. However, a recent tweet suggests that The Flash may potentially surpass this record, making it the most expensive DC film to date. The budget for The Flash including marketing campaigns reportedly crosses the combined budget of both Wonder Woman movies.
