The iconic animated series by Disney, Kim Possible, is getting a much anticipated reboot in the form of a live action original movie, and Disney just released the first teaser for the upcoming movie.

Sadie Stanley brings the iconic character of Kim Possible to life in the first teaser, check that out in the video above.

Kim Possible was a big success, running for four seasons between 2002 to 2007. Christy Carlson Romano voiced the iconic secret agent in the original animated series, while Will Friedle portrayed her memorable yet clumsy sidekick Ron Stoppable.

The new film is supposed to be a reboot of the animated series and will the the first presentation of the character in live action format. Sean Giambrone will be playing Ron Stoppable, while Stanley will be playing Kim Possible.

It has been more than 10 years since the last season of Kim Possible but her huge fan base has not gone away. Fans of the series have been very vocal in their support for the reboot of the franchise for a long time, though there still are some people who are not so thrilled by the live action adaptation of the movie.

At the very least, Disney is highly determined to push the franchise which is indicated by their plans to re introduce Kim Possible for completely new audience, which might catapult her popularity even further, and it is highly likely that a positive reception to the movie will lead to more projects with the iconic character.

Joining the cast are Todd stashwick, Alyson Hannigan, Ciara Wilson, Taylor Ortega, Issac Ryan Brown, Erika Tham and Connie Ray. The Live action adaptation is being written by Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley (series creators) along with Josh Cagan, the live-action adaptation of the film Kim Possible is expected to debut on the Disney Channel in 2019.
