For some reason there appears to be some confusion on social media when The Flash posted a short promo for Blade on Sunday. Blade, who is part-vampire and part-mortal, becomes a vampire hunter to protect human beings. He prevents vampires from taking control over the human race.

While some fans wondered if the character was jumping ship to the DC universe, or if The CW was doing some really early promotion for Marvel’s Mahershala Ali-led Blade reboot.

What Marvel plans to do with Blade is yet to be seen. Meanwhile, the sixth season of the American television series The Flash, which is based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen / Flash, is set to premiere on The CW on October 8, 2019, and consists of 22 episodes
