According to the story published by Page SixMatthew Perry wrote about how he felt while taking Ketamine. He wrote, “Taking K is like being hit in the head with a giant happy shovel. But the hangover was rough and outweighed the shovel.”

Ketamine is a drug used for medical treatments like depression and pain management. It is used as a recreational drug and also for the induction of anesthesia.

According to the toxicology report by the Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner, shared by Variety, there was no evidence of the Ketamine infusion therapy after they found the drug in the actor’s system, saying that the effects of the medication treatment lasted for around 3-4 hours, or even less. This suggests that The West Wing actor overdosed on the drug as he completely relied on it.
