You would have experienced to a bit fairly intense advertising of Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis consoles if you grew up in that era. Sega launched an ad campaign to face an uphill battle against Nintendo. Those advertisements were bewildering, but as well as entertaining. Nowadays finds themselves in a similar position Google experiences the same thing. This is because, in the market filled with options like PS4, Xbox One and Switch are present. Now Google is trying to launch its new console. Google’s new gaming platform is ‘Stadia’.
Google Stadia
Recently Google released a trailer of Stadia. The trailer surely conjures those old day memories. Stadia owners don’t exactly own any console games. But, Stadia’s system allows its players to play with Stadia controller by streaming games on their screens directly. The trailer, in theory, gives a good idea about the system and how it works.
Cons of the Stadia
This console requires high-speed internet to get most out of it. This is the reason many gamers expect an input lag. In for many normal gamers, a slight lag doesn’t matter. But this turns out to be a headache for many competitive gamers
It looks embracing in the trailer due to the promotion of less clutter in it. Moreover, many gamers are still attached to physical game releases rather. By giving smaller titled physical releases, Super Rare Games and Limited Run Games publishers have found great success for that specific reason.
Google Stadia could change the entire gaming landscape and is now available in stores. It is yet to see if the general public will accept this technological advancement or not. The massive company Google might have market plans to get this into people.
