“He handled that like a f*cking woman”: Sean Strickland Had a Crude Response For Tom Brady and Jokes About Ex-wife Gisele Bundchen
UFC fighter Sean Strickland has a thing or two to say to Tom Brady who was recently subjected to a roast on Netflix. His close friends, family, and colleagues showed up to name the worst possible qualities the NFL star could possess and then berate him about them.
Brady has been under fire by the media due to his recent split with supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Speculations and rumors about the reasons behind their split have spread like wildfire. The couple seemingly got divorced due to instances of infidelity which were also targeted during The Tom Brady Roast.
Sean Strickland Verbally Abuses Tom Brady
Notorious for his homophobic and misogynist opinions, Sean Strickland has often put his foot in his mouth with his claims. This time is no different as the UFC fighter abused Superbowl champion Tom Brady and asked him to “man the f*ck up.”
During a press conference in Jersey, the fighter was asked his take on the roast that recently happened for Brady and if he would ever be interested in hosting one for himself. According to Daily Mail, Strickland responded with a bunch of curse words and said,
Tom Brady was a c**t, bro. What did he say, he got mad ‘Don’t talk about my wife like that!’. Listen, you f**king pu**y. You signed up to be made fun of, and you can’t handle it? Don’t f**king do it. Me? I don’t know if I can handle it…but he handled it like a f**king woman. You act like a f**king girl, and you can pet goats, and post gay f**king photos. Man the f**k up, no one thinks you’re tough Tom Brady, you’re made fun of [by] a f**king comedian, you f**king pu**y.
Safe to say, this is not the first time Strickland has made such remarks. In the past, he has compared being gay to having an intellectual disability, as reported by USAToday. Moreover, in 2021, he claimed on his X account that he would have failed as a father if he had a gay son. Strickland seemingly never realizes the error of his ways and continues to put forth his opinions unabashedly.
Tom Brady Expressed Regret over some jokes in the Roast
The Tom Brady Roast got way too real as many comedians and celebrities targeted Brady’s marriage and subsequent infidelity. After his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen claimed that she was disappointed over the jokes made at the expense of their marriage and kids, Tom Brady realized the same and expressed his regret over jokes targeted at his family.
During The Pivot Podcast, Brady said,
I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun. I didn’t like the way they affected my kids. It was the bittersweet aspect of when you’re doing something you think is one way and then you realize I wouldn’t do that again because of the way it affected the people I care about the most in the world.
This is the reason why Strickland also went on a rant about Brady as he thought the latter could not handle a few jokes. In hindsight, it was the right move for Brady to straighten things over as he is still co-parenting his kids with his ex-wife. For the well-being of their children, the couple should remain on amicable terms. However, Strickland saw this as weakling behavior and berated Brady for the same.
