Meanwhile, secretly re-formed dark wizard supporters called Death Eaters are behind mysterious attacks. Headmaster Dumbledore reforms “the Order of the Phoenix” to oppose them and convince the Ministry of Voldemort’s return. As Umbridge’s iron-fisted rule tightens over Hogwarts, Harry and his friends establish Dumbledore’s Army where Harry instructs classmates on defensive spells. He struggles with painful visions apparently sent by Voldemort, and turns away his budding romantic affection for Cho Chang.
The story climaxes at the Ministry of Magic itself. Believing his godfather Sirius to be captive there, Harry and his friends fly to London to rescue him.
