Now, it seems like those possibilities might become reality soon. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. Television has secured three cast members- Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. This is already a hint that the studio is probably serious about Season 4.
But it might not be as straightforward as it may look. According to Collider, Ted Lasso actor Jason Sudeikis himself is not sure about returning. The show was originally thought of as a 3-season show, and Sudeikis probably won’t want it to extend beyond that.
Moreover, there are scheduling challenges for other actors too. Many previous cast members have been working on new projects since the end of last season. Amid all these, it is yet to be seen how the studio manages to bring them all back together, probably one last time.

But the reason for its classification was due to its runtime. The Emmys were classifying shows with 30-minute episodes as comedies until 2021. The Bear fit that criteria even though it was technically a drama if it was solely judged on its content.
Some even believe that The Bear creators strategically chose the comedy category to avoid competing with dramas like Succession as it was a strong contender already. Whether it is true or not is a separate discussion, but the snub has definitely left a mark on Ted Lasso fans which is not going anytime soon.
