“I feel ashamed in those moments”: Liam Payne Apologizes to One Direction Members After Openly Trashing Them in Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ Podcast, Vows to Make Amends
Singer Liam Payne retracts his statements after bashing his former One Direction bandmates. The apology comes right after he watched his bandmate Louis Tomlinson’s documentary, All of Those Voices. The singer primarily apologized to Tomlinson for not being there for him when he was battling mental issues. He further promised to “make amends.”
These statements came roughly one year after Payne revealed that he was not a huge fan of Zayn Malik on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. He talked about his alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend, Gigi Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid. He later cleared out his side stating that he and Zayn Malik are “family.”
Liam Payne apologized to Louis Tomlinson
Singer Liam Payne recently attended the UK premiere of singer Louis Tomlinson’s documentary, All of Those Voices. As a result, Payne took to his Instagram to apologize to his former One Direction bandmate for “not being there” for him when he was struggling with mental health issues. He wrote,
“I’m so sorry I was so out of my mind and I didn’t do better for you. I feel ashamed in those moments to not be as good of a friend as you have been to me. At least I have time now and I’m me again so will try and make amends.”
The singer promised to “make amends” in the lengthy Instagram post. Back in May 2022, Payne appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive, and revealed that he was not a fan of Zayn Malik. This invited a lot of hate from the fans.

Liam Payne called the documentary “the most beautiful thing“
Further in the caption, the singer talked about his documentary stating that it was “the most beautiful thing to experience” and that he looks up to Tomlinson,
“Seeing the world through your eyes last night was the most beautiful thing to experience. My neck hurts from how much Im [sic] looking up to you right now you were already my friend and brother but getting to look through that window into your world and mind I [sic] just extends that respect I have for you.”
This comes roughly one month after singer Harry Styles, who was also once a part of the boyband, thanked his former bandmates in his acceptance speech at the 2023 BRIT Awards.
