Actor Brian Cox, who is well known for his role as Logan Roy in Succession, trolled business magnate Rupert Murdoch for getting engaged for the fifth time at the age of 92. After four failed relationships, the media mogul decide to get engaged to his new girlfriend Ann Lesley Smith, 66, just six months after meeting her for the first time.
Brian Cox, who previously starred in the fourth and final season of Succession, talked about the show on The Jonathan Ross Show and he trolled the media mogul at one point during the interview wishing him good luck. Well, Rupert Murdoch taught us that it’s really never too late.

During his latest appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, actor Brian Cox subtly made fun of business magnate Rupert Murdoch for getting engaged at the age of 92 after four failed marriages. At one point, when they discussed the media mogul’s engagement, the actor said, “Good luck!” The 76-year-old Succession star himself went through two failed marriages. He got married to Nicole Ansari, his third wife, back in 2002.
The media mogul revealed that he was nervous
Media mogul, Rupert Murdoch previously himself announced his engagement to Ann Lesley Smith through one of his own publications, The New York Post. He explained that he was nervous,
“I was very nervous. I dreaded falling in love — but I knew this would be my last. It better be. I’m happy.”
He further revealed that they are planning to get married late this year, probably in late summer. After looking for love four times in four people, the media mogul feels like this will be his last.

Not many people may know who Rupert Murdoch is. The 92-year-old man is a media mogul and businessman from Australia. Born on March 11, 1931, in Melbourne, Australia, Murdoch inherited his father’s newspaper business and went on to build a huge media empire.
He is the founder and CEO of News Corp, which owns several major media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and The New York Post. He is also the founder of Sky News and has owned various other media companies throughout his career. As per Forbes, his net worth is estimated to be about $17.1 billion.
He first got married to Patricia Booker in 1956 but got divorced in 1967. Later that year, he decided to get married to Anna Murdoch Mann but even that marriage came to an end in 1999. Without wasting time, he once again got married in 1999 to Wendi Deng but that marriage also ended in 2013. He decided to find love once again as he got married to Jerry Hall in 2016 but unfortunately, the marriage once again ended in 2022. Now, he is all set to get married for the fifth time.
