Iconic Disney Characters Without Facial Hair Might Make You Uncomfortable
It’s not very easy to deny the actual power behind quality facial hair, even while looking at the mere differences between a well-kept and a poorly-kept beard is somewhat a transformation to behold. For many, going from clean-faced to glorious beard-face can be literally life-changing.
So, what if we apply the same to Disney characters? There’s a lot of facial hair featured on the characters of Disney films, right from Disney dads to the villains and other bonus characters in between.
As a matter of fact, the facial hair that is featured in the Disney films is quite hard not to notice so when you see what these illustrators have done, you might feel a bit uncomfortable. These Disney dudes have always been shaved and we don’t really know how to feel about it.
1. King Hubert from Sleeping Beauty
Well, King Hubert is much less powerful without his mutton chops.
2. Maurice from Beauty and the Beast
Well, Maurice looks a little villainous without all that hair.
3. Cookie from Atlantis
This is one of the most realistic in the whole series.
4. The Emperor from Mulan
Please, just put it back.
5. Zeus from Hercules
He needs a bigger nose if he doesn’t have the beard.
6. Gepetto from Pinocchio
Shaving took 15 years off Gepetto’s face.
7. The King from Cinderella
D’awh….
8. Jafar from Aladdin
I guess Jafar’s facial hair wasn’t as iconic as previously believed.
9. King Triton from The Little Mermaid
This is not acceptable.
10. Merlin from The Sword in the Stone
He went from magician to nerd really quick, didn’t he?
11. Cassim from Aladdin and the King of Thieves
Still works.
12. The Grand Duke from Cinderella
This one might be the most uncomfortable of them all.
13. The Sultan from Aladdin
Clearly, the beard is necessary for his pleasant disposition.
14. Yen Sid from The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
Oh, this is kinda creepily good.
15. Kashekim Nedakh from Atlantis
He doesn’t seem half as wise without his beard.
