According to the Los Angeles Times, she opened up about developing a crush on Pitt gradually but being oblivious to his attraction to her. Following their dating life, the pair got engaged in 1996. Reportedly, the Fight Club actor had popped the question in Argentina while working on his movie Seven Years in Tibet. Unfortunately, their engagement never turned into marriage. And around a year later the two separated. But since then the two have been on friendly terms with each other as shared by Paltrow in 2020.
