“It got out of control”: MCU Star John Krasinski’s “Dangerous” Moves on the Dance Floor Scared Ellen DeGeneres After It Got Out of Hand
Actor and filmmaker John Krasinski is most famous for his role as Jim Halpert in the NBC sitcom The Office which was aired for a total of nine seasons between 2005 and 2013. He has appeared in several other movies and shows over the years. In 2022, he made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic who is a member of the Illuminati in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
John Krasinski married Oppenheimer star Emily Blunt in 2010 and shares two daughters with her. Like any other couple, they do not let go of any chance to gush about each other during interviews or any other such occasion. One such instance is when Emily Blunt talked about her husband’s dancing on The Ellen Show.

John Krasinski’s Dance Moves Are Unique
During the promotion of the movie Salmon Fishing in the Yemen in April of 2012, Emily Blunt appeared as a guest on The Ellen Show where she discussed John Krasinski’s dance moves with the host. Ellen DeGeneres mentioned that the couple had attended a summer party where Krasinski started dancing and things got out of hand real quick.
Recalling the incident, DeGeneres said, “She and John Krasinski, her husband, they were at a party of ours in the summer. And it got out of control a little bit.” The Sicario actress agreed with her and went on to say that her husband likes to do lunge moves when he dances.

Blunt wasn’t sure if the Jack Ryan actor has ever showed his dancing moves at The Ellen Show but the host confirmed that he had, in fact, danced at the show the last time he was there, then she proceeded to show a video of him dancing. She claimed that Krasinski’s lunge moves needed a lot of space on the dance floor while the actress was full-on laughing.
Emily Blunt said, “I know, he has enormously long limbs as well. So, it’s always a bit dangerous when they start flexing like that.” She went on to reveal that she often dances with her husband over coffee or breakfast while their dog goes to his bed to hide away.
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt Adore Each Other
In Hollywood’s world of scandalous relationships and short marriages, there are very few couples who make it through, and John Krasinski and Emily Blunt happen to be one of those couples. They have only ever spoken well of each other. In an interview with Parade in December 2022, John Krasinski said:
“I wouldn’t be anywhere in my life without her. On a daily basis—but certainly career-wise—as a dad, she pushes my to be better every single day at everything I do. I look forward to the next day ‘cause I know it’ll be better than the one before.”

Emily Blunt has also openly spoken about her love for her husband. The couple have also worked together in the sci-fi horror movie A Quiet Place and its sequel A Quiet Place Part II. The couple have supported each other ever since their marriage in 2010.
