Showrunner Leslye Headland Has Left Fans Unimpressed With The Acolyte’s Ending
American film director and screenwriter, Leslye Headland, gained unmatched fame for being the one behind The Acolyte. People loved her show and the characters in it, save for a couple of bumps here and there. However, it seems like Headland fell a little short of fans’ expectations towards the end of the season.

To them, it would have been better if she could have just portrayed Vernestra as a villain or an anti-hero. This way, Season 2 would have been more appealing.
On top of that, Disney+ has not given any word regarding continuing the show. The absence of any confirmation is making fans even more frustrated. However, Headland has said that there have been conversations to continue the show past Season 1 and this is probably the only ray of hope for the fans of The Acolyte as of now.
