“It’s just a disgusting feeling”: The Baddest Man On The Planet Mike Tyson Feels Helpless After Hulu Stole His Life Story, Says His Friends Betrayed Him
On 25th August, Hulu dropped Mike, a TV series that narrates the story of heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. The former professional boxer is not happy as he claims that they released the show without his consent and was not even paid for the project that is entirely about him. He recently appeared in an interview with Access to talk about the new Hulu show, which stars Trevante Rhodes in the title role. The former boxer is currently working on a project that will narrate his life with executive producer Jamie Foxx and director Antoine Fuqua.
Mike Tyson feels like they stole his life
Mike Tyson appeared in an interview with Mario Lopez and talked about Hulu’s new show, Mike,
“I wanted everyone to know that the show that they made, ‘Mike’ from Hulu, I have nothing to do with it. They never offered me any money. They never came to me to offer me anything to be involved… They stole my story and ran… I just can’t believe this. It’s just a disgusting feeling that people steal away your rights, your personal life and you can do nothing about it.”
He said he felt betrayed and they could’ve narrated his story in a proper way.

He also criticized Hulu earlier this month in his Instagram post
Earlier this month, Mike Tyson posted a picture on his Instagram account criticizing Hulu for “stealing his life story.” The post read,
“Don’t let Hulu fool you. I don’t support their story about my life. It’s not 1822. It’s 2022. They stole my life story and didn’t pay me. To Hulu executives I’m just a n****r they can sell on the auction block.”
He captioned the post, “Hulu is the streaming version of the slave master. They stole my story and didn’t pay me.” Clearly, the former boxer was not happy as they used his name and story without his consent.

The showrunners said they wanted to portray an unbiased story
The executive producer of the show Steven Rogers and showrunner Karin Gist, said they want to portray an unbiased story. Karin Gist explained,
“We just wanted to tell an unbiased story and have the audience decide what they think or feel. Challenging what people think they know about Mike and hoping that they come away from the series with something else to think about.”
The former American professional boxer is currently working on a project that will narrate his life with executive producer Jamie Foxx and director Antoine Fuqua.
Mike is available for streaming on Hulu right now.
