Jamie Foxx continues to recover from a medical complication

Actor Jamie Foxx, who was spotted weeks after his scary medical emergency complications cruising on a boat down the Chicago River, was recently reported to have hosted a celebration to celebrate his recovery. The party was held at the Chicago rehabilitation facility where the actor has been going.

A source close to Foxx said, “He has been working really hard these last couple of months to get back to normal and has greatly improved since he first got to the facility. He is still doing some outpatient rehab though.”

A month later, his daughter gave an update on his health. It was reported that Foxx had been out of hospital for weeks and was recovering and she went ahead to thank Foxx’s fans and followers for their support. A fan whose name is Terri “Quenni” Glenn recently opened up about the actor returning their log bag and shared that she along with her sisters were riding a pedicab after leaving Chicago’s Bean Sculpture when they saw a black SV driving behind him and honked at them.

When the SUV stopped, the actor got out holding her lost bag which she explained had fallen off on the side when their pedicab turned. She said, “I wanted to ask Jamie where he found the purse. I didn’t even know it fell out.”

Glenn further mentioned that she asked him how he was doing, to which he said that he was feeling good and while he was getting back inside his car, she thanked him for returning her lost bag. She explained, “He hopped out and came toward me, and hopped back in. He looked good. He looked very good. His voice was calm. It sounded good to me.”

The fan pointed out that the actor wasn’t alone in the car but he wanted to return the bag himself, which she described as ‘dope’. The interaction with a fan clarifies that the actor is doing well and he is on his way to recovery. Hopefully, his fans will get to see him back in the spotlight soon.

Jamie Foxx’s co-actor in They Cloned Tyrone, John Boyega, also shared a positive update on Foxx’s health condition, stating that he has managed to get through and spoken to him.

He said, “He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro. He’s doing well. And then, you know, we are just giving him privacy, and we can’t wait for his return. I gave him well wishes directly. I gave him all the well wishes. So I’m just gonna wait until he comes back of here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”

A source mentioned that his family and friends have been a great support for him and made sure that he doesn’t take too much on his health. His co-star Porscha Coleman shared with ET, “Jamie’s always been private, so it never surprised me. Once I heard the news, of course, I reached out, but how Foxx is doing it is how Foxx should be doing it. He’s resting, he’s well. And he’s going to be back. Trust and believe.”

Mike Tyson, who appeared on the PDB podcast in May, claimed that Foxx had a stroke and was not feeling well, but there has been no confirmation of what the medical emergency was.
