Jujutsu Kaisen is on a roll after making its way into the Guinness World Records for being the most in-demand anime of 2023. Fans are eagerly waiting for Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen after MAPPA officially confirmed an adaptation of the Culling Game Arc right after Season 2 ended. As interesting as the events of the Shibuya Arc have been so far, it has also left the fates of the jujutsu sorcerers in a delicate balance.

All their questions might only be answered in the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen, but the fans might need to hold on for much longer. Considering the two-year gap between Season 1 and Season 2, it wouldn’t be surprising if MAPPA decides to release another movie adaptation. Here’s everything that is known so far.

Jujutsu Kaisen‘s cast is most likely to stay the same with some noticeable differences. With Gojo Satoru, the internet’s beloved jujutsu sorcerer, locked in the prison realm, it can be assumed that he won’t be featured heavily. Nobara Kugisaki’s well-being has also not been confirmed by the series yet, so her presence in the Culling Game Arc is highly questionable.

And that leaves us with the devastating memory of Kento Nanami, undoubtedly one of the biggest losses in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. The Shibuya Arc also bid farewell to several other supporting casts who won’t feature in the third season.

2) “Satoru Gojo has been deemed an accomplice in the Shibuya Incident and is hereby expelled from jujutsu society. In addition, any attempt to free him from his seal will be deemed a crime.”

3) “Masamichi Yaga is sentenced to death for inciting Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, causing the Shibuya Incident.”

4) “The suspension on Yuji Itadori’s death sentence is hereby revoked, and his execution shall be carried out promptly.”
