Kim Kardashian replies to the ‘haters’ of North West’s Lion King performance

Clips of North West’s performance went viral at the time, and it was clear that it did not impress the audience who were at the Hollywood Bowl when she performed.
They mentioned that the studios should have selected a trained performer to play the role of Simba instead of North West. People on the Internet did not hold themselves back from sharing that just because North West has an influential family, she got to play Simba even when there are great young performers out there.
Kim Kardashian, during a recent episode of The Kardashians, shared ahead of the performance, during the confessional,
I already know what’s coming, that she’s not Whitney Houston. Duh! ‘Oh, she got the job because of her parents.’. North is the moment. They want to see North West on a TikTok, on this, on anything, because she’s a personality, a performer. And if anyone wants to hate on a child that is having the time of their life, F***k you!
Kardashian later added that she was very proud of her daughter and thought she performed well. The SKIMS founder added that her daughter did such a great job, and anyone who hates on a kid is just a hater. Kim Kardashian acknowledged that North West did not perform to be like Mariah Carey.
People on the internet shared that no one is hating on North West but they are just disappointed that someone else who was talented and maybe deserved the stage couldn’t perform because studios decided to go ahead with North West. Kardashian also shared in the episode that she was very skeptical about whether to let her daughter perform or not, especially because of the scrutiny she would face. She said,
North is very comfortable performing, but she is not a singer. She raps, and she’s been on a stage with her dad. But as a mom, especially putting her child on a platform for a lot of opinions, it’s something to, really, really think about.
However, Kim Kardashian let her daughter perform because she explained that it’s what North West wanted to do, and as her mom, she believed in her. North West reportedly prepared for her performance in four days.
Kris Jenner, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian also attended the performance, with Kanye West making a rare appearance to watch North West perform.
Kim Kardashian opens up about being a momager to North West
During the episode, Kim Kardashian, in conversation with her sister Khloe Kardashian, shared that she is not taking 10% from her daughter’s career. Kris Jenner reportedly takes a 10 percent cut from managing her five daughters’ careers. She said (via Life & Style),
I wasn’t planning on being a momager for another 10 years! I still have like 10 years left of work that I want to do. Like, I still want to be me, you know? I still have more to do.
Kardashian goes on to explain that every day North West is busy doing something is the day she can’t work, as she mentioned that she has to be there with her daughter whenever she is doing anything work-related. She added that being a momager to her 11-year-old daughter was not on her bingo card for this year, adding it’s a lot of work and energy.
Kim Kardashian is co-parenting her kids with ex-husband Kanye West, who has also opened up about their marriage coming to an end. She mentioned that their relationship did not end due to personal reasons but circumstances changed that forced them to part ways.
The reality TV star added that when one isn’t planning to end their marriage and it’s not an ideal outcome for them but there is no option left but to leave, it makes it harder to get over.
