As per sources, Prince Harry refused to attend King Charles III’s coronation in May. The royal recently sat down with Tom Bradby and talked about his upcoming memoir and his relationship with his family. The trailer of the upcoming interview was dropped and it was revealed that he was given the opportunity to verbally commit to attending King Charles III’s coronation on the 6th of May, but he refused. The royal also defined why his memoir is called Spare and explained that the critics don’t understand his motives. Over the years, his bond with his family has deteriorated as he has accused the royal family of treating him and his wife, Meghan Markle, inhumanely, when they lived in the UK.

The trailer of Prince Harry‘s ITV interview with Tom Bradby was dropped recently and it was revealed that the Duke of Sussex refused to attend King Charles III’s coronation. However, he is willing to sit down with them and discuss things in a civilized way. He said,

“There’s a lot that can happen between now and then. But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they’re willing to sit down and talk about it.”

His highly anticipated memoir, Spare, is all set to be released on January 10, 2023. A 416-page hardcover edition and an audiobook (on CD) will also be available.

Some parts of Prince Harry’s memoir were leaked earlier this week and it highlighted an alleged physical altercation between him and his brother, Prince William, over Meghan Markle, that happened in 2019. “He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor,” the Duke of Sussex wrote and further claimed that he “landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under” his back and cut into him. In his latest interview, he defended his memoir stating that critics don’t understand his motives.
