More than a year after their breakup, a source close to Joe Alwyn told People, “He’s dating and happy. He’s a great guy and not into drama in any way.” The 33-year-old has since “moved on” from Taylor Swift and “certainly doesn’t talk poorly about her.” The source added:
“He was in love with her [Taylor], and it just didn’t work out. Joe loves acting, but can’t stand the attention that comes with it. He’s not comfortable in the spotlight.”
Even their breakup after six years was mainly because of “differences in their personalities.” While Alwyn likes to keep a low profile, Swift enjoys the spotlight. After her massively successful Eras Tour and the launch of her latest album The Tortured Poets Department, she’s now openly dating NFL star Travis Kelce.

As per Teen Vogue, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn began dating in late 2016 and tried to keep their relationship under wraps. Tay had broken up with the Loki star Tom Hiddleston in September 2016 and soon after got together with the The Favourite star.
Alwyn and Swift were first linked in May 2017 and started appearing together in public in 2018. When Swift was promoting her album Midnights, before news of their breakup, she talked about the first song, Lavender Haze, saying it’s about the challenges of dating in the spotlight.
In a now-deleted Instagram video about the song, she said (via Billboard), “My relationship for six years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it.” The two have now moved on smoothly from their six-year relationship. And, both seem happy and focused on their own paths. While T-Swizzle is busy with her music career, the Hollywood star is focusing on acting.
