“LOL that’s just my face!!!”: Jennifer Lopez Slammed a Supposed Fan Who Accused Her of Using Botox
Jennifer Lopez slammed a hater and claimed she has never used any injectables on her face to achieve her timeless glow. The 53-year-old actress still looks fresh as a flower and has no signs of aging. In spite of it appearing to be unattainable and impossible at her age, the actress claims she is ‘au naturale’. Receiving hate comments is nothing new for celebrities on Instagram, although many choose not to get bothered by it and simply ignore them JLo once and for all has had enough and thus decided to school the hater who posed as a fan of the singer.
This isn’t the first time, the actress is receiving backlash for using Botox, people have been very consistently trying to bust her sham. But she has been pretty persistent to shut them down immediately. Although the truth is still not yet confirmed by Lopez, people believe, “the fluids” play an important part in making her look like an angel.

Jennifer Lopez is receiving backlash for using Botox
Just after the singer, actor, and dancer extraordinaire, Jennifer Lopez dropped her skincare line, JLo Beauty last year. People started calling her out for her hypocrisy. The actress supposedly used Botox to maintain her looks and thus, imposing the illusion on many younger and impressionable women out there is not okay. While promoting a face mask from her beauty line, the actress claimed,
“I just took off the mask and honestly, I cannot even see a line on my face,—I feel like it took 10 years off my face.”
And while she was using the product in the video many fans noticed her forehead region is very stiff and does not create fine lines while expressing emotions, which is one of the tell-tell signs of using injectables. Fans were quick to jump in and call her out.
The comments section was then swarmed with comments like,
“Wow!! Do you have to use Botox & fillers before or after the mask. Asking for a friend.”
Another user wrote,
“Your forehead is behind your ears… that’s a facelift… not a cream.”
While another went like this,
“Of course she does Botox, her forehead hasn’t moved in years. Frozen. She has lied about this. Thinks we’re idiots. Lost credibility.”
But a comment, in particular, captured her attention. The Instagram user said,
“Can I just mention that brows and forehead doesn’t move at all when you talk or try to express… you definitely have Botox. And tons of it. And it’s all good. Just saying.”
Although it may seem like a harmless comment, it struck a nerve with the actress which compelled her to clear the air once and for all and therefore took a moment to educate the user on how to treat people with kindness. It may look a bit excessive, but Jennifer Lopez was very evidently frustrated.

The comments section under her video compelled her to state her side of the story. Although people have been onto her, she has been very persistently denying the fact of using any cosmetic injections ever. But the people on the internet are not buying the bluff. According to the actress,
“LOL that’s just my face!!!”
She then further continued saying,
“For the 500 millionth time…I have never done Botox or any injectables or surgery!! Just saying. Get you some JLO Beauty and feel beautiful in your own skin!!”
After this, she spilled one of her beauty secrets which many people agreed with. She said,
“Try spending your time being more positive, kind and uplifting of others,–Don’t spend your time trying to bring others down that will keep you youthful and beautiful too!!! Sending you love. #beautyfromtheinsideout #beautyhasnoexpirationdate.”
Although the actress has been adamant about her not using any Botox, many claim it is very irresponsible of her to mislead consumers who are really interested in buying her products for their own benefit. According to the internet, the unreal expectations set by her does more harm, than her products could ever fix.
