Fans are now asking for other Marvel heroes from Netflix’s gallery of Marvel characters after Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently confirmed that Charlie Cox will be returning to the MCU as Daredevil, surprisingly, just days before the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The announcement happened during a promotional event for No Way Home, which is set to introduce many former Spider-Man villains from previous Spidey films.

Krysten Ritter, Jon Bernthal, Finn Jones, and Mike Colter were among the ones to join Charlie on Netflix, starring in Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, respectively. These heroes also have a massive fan following, and many have since turned to social media, asking for their favorite heroes’ return.

Jon’s The Punisher was a fan favorite and was loved by most Marvel fans, with many appreciating the portrayal of street-level vigilantes. Appearing in the second season of Daredevil, he quickly rose to fame, eventually landing up with his own solo series on Netflix. However, it was quite recent when Bernthal downplayed any chances of his return as Punisher during an interview with Screenrant.

“You know, we’ll see,” Bernthal said in September while promoting his new indie film Small Engine Repair. “I mean, honestly, I don’t think about it very much. I’m really happy — look, we’re all enormously blessed to be doing this. I can say for the other guys that you’re talking to as well, we really love this. We really love doing this. We work hard at it, we support our families by it, through it, but we never lose touch just how grateful we are to be in the position that we are that we get to do this for a living. I like to do this. I like to work with people I really respect and love and admire and make stuff with. This kind of project is precisely, it’s exactly the kind of stuff I want to be doing. So, whatever else comes, you know, kind of down the road, comes. But, this is something that’s really worth celebrating.”

Daredevil, alongside Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage led to their first crossover series The Defenders, as they join hands to fight The Hand. However, often ignored by many, Misty Knight, Claire Temple, Colleen Wing also made a huge impact on some fans across Marvel’s shows. If Charlie Cox can return as Daredevil, then there are strong chances that these women also turn up in the MCU.

Even Daredevil’s arch-nemesis Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin is already rumored to be appearing in Hawkeye and fans can’t really wait to see Vincent D’Onofrio again.
