Avengers are known as the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the comic book world. Introduced to the world by Stan Lee, the group has become an iconic team through years. Iron Man, Captain America and Captain Marvel are some of the strongest heroes in the Marvel Universe. The team is still the center of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, there are some team members whose live-action counterparts haven’t really lived up to the expectations of the fans. Some of these characters are powerful enough to go against Thor and Black Panther. Today we will look at the most powerful Avengers villains in the comics.

One of the most underrated villains in the MCU, Korvac has access to the Power Cosmic which makes him almost invincible. It took both Guardians and Avengers to bring him down during the “Korvac Saga” storyline.
Even after getting defeated by Avengers, Korvac managed to survive by going through time and inhabiting new hosts.

Loki is undeniably one of the most dangerous villains in the Marvel Universe. After all, he caused the team to assemble in the first place. Loki is a master trickster, which allows him to execute notorious plots. Unfortunately, Avengers are the center of his plots on most occasions.
Loki is also a powerhouse, possessing super strength and ability to fire energy blasts.

The history of Kang the Conqueror has a long history that is often confused even by the most knowledgeable Marvel fans. He has taken the persona for Rama-Tut, Immortus and Nathaniel Richards over the years and despite having a murky past, Kang is one of the most impressive villains faced by The Avengers.
He’s a genius with an ability to time travel. With access to advanced technology, he is a formidable enemy for the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

4. The Skrulls

The members of this race came into notice after the “Secret Invasion” storyline. These heroes secretly replaced many of Avengers and almost took over the whole world.
The race took advantage of the fractured superhero community and almost brought the world to their knees.

3. Galactus

Galactus may have softened over the past few years but he is the most dangerous villain in the Marvel Universe. He also wielded the Power Cosmic, which gave him a plethora of powers including telekinesis and telepathy. He can even transmute matter.
He’s usually seen as a Fantastic Four villain but he quickly became a threat to The Avengers. The group should be happy that Galactus has now become The Lifebringer in the Marvel Universe.

2. Doctor Doom
